Axxolina bella bestia però mi pare che anche Violectric ha sposato la pratica dell'aumentare a dismisura il prezzo per metterlo in una bel determinato range di dispositivi HiFi
Per me troppo elevato, soprattutto rispetto alle vecchie linee
E l'opzione per avere il potenziometro motorizzato 128 step altri 500€ ?

Nessuno lo ha ancora sentito possibile che abbia un suono il DOPPIO meglio del V200 ?
Io lo ritengo difficile
Se poi ci mettiamo il potenziomentro motorizzato arriviamo a 2100€    e stika !  
Si è sempre criticato, e giustamente, il prezzo di alcuni ampli d'oltreoceano, quà mi pare che andiamo sugli stessi livelli

Per costare il doppio deve necessariamente suonare "doppiamente meglio"? Mi sembra un assioma che soprattutto in questo campo trova poco spazio e riscontri.
Ad ogni modo, il confronto di prezzo andrebbe fatto con il v220 (di cui non ne conosco il prezzo ma immagino sia decisamente più basso) che quantomeno ha le stesse caratteristiche di base del v200, uscita sbilanciata anche esso, e non con il v281 full bilanciato, ed il potenziometro motorizzato non si è obbligati a mettercelo.
Il v281 a quel prezzo andrà a cozzare con phonitor2 e bryston tanto per citarne 2. Se dovesse uscirne bene avranno fatto bene a proporlo a quelle cifre.

Quali prezzi ti risultano? Un phonitor 2 lo porti via a 1433€, un bryston 1530€?
Se il prezzo del v281 indicato è il prezzo di listino definitivo, devi considerare che il solito distributore europeo lo venderà ad una cifra più bassa. Ad esempio il v200 costa 850€ di listino, ma il distributore lo propone a 750€ (a volte qualcosina meno). Se teniamo conto della stessa differenza prezzo tra listino Violectric e costo al pubblico del distributore è probabile che il v281 te lo porti a casa per poco più di 1400€ (stessa fascia quindi, ma con prezzo anche più basso). Tutto questo, è solo per dire che non mi pare ci sia da gridare allo scandalo, per un ampli full bilanciato, di qualità e fatto in Germania, visti i prezzi ai quali altri produttori vendono oggetti analoghi...

Ive been listening the V281 amp via single-ended mode, my Balanced cable will arrive soon and the amp works beautiful with all of my headphones, but, the big surprise is the K701! Yes! LCD-2 sound awesome out of it, also the Denon AH-D7000, but thats something I expected, what I did not expect at all was the big improvement in the AKG K701s.

The AKG K701 is a headphones that either you love it or hate it, I was in the "love it" side, but there was something I didnt like about the K701, the mid-treble transition. The K701s have a strange, harshy peak around 5-6khz that harsh a little bit, more if the recording isnt a quality one. Also, the bass department, unless you use tubes, always has been a bit thin, I liked it in this way tho, for classical music and OSTs, but for other styles it laked punch and body.
Well, I decided that the time had come to test the K701 with my new amp, and WOW, the K701 just evolved into a new level!!
That harsh area near the treble almost dissapeared, and this is not burn-in related at all, the headphones has up to 2000 hours of use and I know it very very well. But the treble just calmed down a bit in that side, having all the extension the K701 always had, just add the plus of smoothness and a controlled situation and you got it!! Awesome.
Also the mids part has been increased in resolution, clarity and a bit of body, which makes the headphones more fun to listen with rock/blues styles.
The bass department boosted up, the sub-bass area goes very deep and this is easily noticeable, electronic music and the punch of drums sound much better. Also the overall bass has a tighter and punchier feeling, giving drums and percusion instruments more presence.
As I say, this was a total surprise. I tried the K701s with many headphone and integrated amps, and Ive never heard it like this. Not even from tubes (marantz and McIntosh amps). Tubes gave it a smoother sound, but just smoother at all, a bit bassier, but the bass wasnt controlled at all, it was muddy, but the V281 gives very well controlled tight bass while smoothing the treble and increasing transparency and body of mids, and all this with the typical Violectric black background.
Also the soundstage imaging got to another level, now sounds more realism."



non vedo l'ora che arrivi il mio per provarlo e recensirlo!   

…Mi sembra che è rimasto WOOO!!!…E poi gli ha dato finalmente Vita alla sua AKG K-701, mai ascoltata prima, così bene, neanche con Driver Integrati Valvolari, tipo McIntosh e Marantz.
D'altronde Amico mio, della bontà di questo Driver, ce ne eravamo già accorti subito a Monaco, segno che se anche due indizi non fanno una prova…ora però i pareri positivi stanno aumentando, e così certificano il ns. Giudizio iniziale, scritto su questo ed altri Forum.
